Looking ahead

Living in Connecticut is definitely quite an experience, throughout the week we had freezing temperatures, and today, oh today... such a lovely day.

I surely felt inspired to bring this feeling inside my home to remind myself that Spring is just around the corner...

Oh, let me tell you, I cannot wait to see the early spring flowers to emerge, to smell the freshly cut grass, to go for long walks again soon.

In fact, that's what I'm going to do now, I'm going for a short walk around the neighborhood.

I coudn't be happier.

    1. Obrigada Angela. The grape hyacinth as we call it here (I had to look at Google to find out what a muscari is, rsrsrs). I got it this year and as the Spring comes I'm going to plant it outside.

It was a short walk, but it felt pretty good.

Have a great week my friend.

  4. Tudo tão harmonioso. Por aqui, muita chuva. Tudo verde, mas não temos diversidade de plantas. Mas eu amo a beleza da savana. Beijos!

  6. Oh Regina, the touch of Spring you have shared has simpy made my evening. I didn't realize you lived in Connecticut. I use to take the ferry to Connecticut often when I lived on Long Island. It's a wonderful place! There use to be a fabulous herb farm there called Caprilands. I use to visit it often. I don't think it's there anymore. The woman who owned the farmhouse was named Adelma Simmons. She wrote many informative books about growing and using herbs. It was a glorious place to vist any time of year but especially when Spring arrived.

Now you have me craving fresh flowers and yes, hyacinths too. I can't wait for mine to emerge:)

I do hope you enjoyed your walk, Regina and thank you so much for sharing your burst of Spring with us...
